Kate Dundes Shattan is an
architect who has practiced architecture and interior design since 1983,
with extensive experience in commercial projects. Her past
work has included Fledermaus Restaurants in the South Street Seaport,
the Casabella Furniture Showroom, Walter's Wicker, office renovations
including the interior design and furniture selection for the corporate
headquarters for Liberty Travel, the Gil Ferrer Hair Salon, twelve
JCPenney Portfolio Furniture stores, the prototype design for Pants
Place in Roosevelt Field, interior design for offices in Mexico City,
several Supercuts salons, refurbishment of the ballrooms at Beth El
Synagogue Center and numerous residential projects in the New York
metropolitan area.
As partner-in-charge of design, Ms.
Shattan is responsible for the programming, conceptual design, color and
material selection for all projects and oversees the coordination of
each project.
